Starting today the Flat Rock Playhouse is showing a hilarious comedy called “Moonlight and Magnolias.” The show is based around the writing of the screenplay for the classic “Gone with the Wind.” I had no idea what to expect last night when I went for the dress rehearsal to photograph it, and I was very blown away. It was so funny in some parts that I had trouble keeping the camera still while laughing. I am on stage much of the play while photographing and I was worried that I’d interfere with their acting as I was not only snapping away, but laughing very loudly. You don’t need to know anything about the history of the movie, or even really have seen the movie, to enjoy the show.
