Bridal portraits are photos that we do of just the bride in her dress. Many people prefer to have a whole session devoted to photos of just the bride. This provides the bride and the family with many more photos of the bride alone in her dress than what you’d normally get just on the wedding day.
Many people also use this as an opportunity to get photos of the bride in her dress to display at the wedding – either at the sign-in table or the gift table is customary.
In order to get the photos edited and printed on canvas or paper we like to do the session at least 6 weeks before the wedding.
Many of our brides choose to have a “Bridal Portrait” session shortly before the wedding. The photos are all of the bride in her dress and most brides choose to have one or several printed out and on display at the reception. As with any of our photography sessions we will go almost anywhere you’d like to go (most of these are taken in the Asheville area). Recently, we have gone to places like the Biltmore Estate, along the Blue Ridge Parkway and down to a train yard. Whatever the look is that you’d like to achieve for your Bridal Photography we will go there and help you get the perfect photos.
