“The thing that I pride myself on the most, when it comes to wedding photography, is being able to read a couple and capture their style and vision and mesh that with mine, instead of simply imposing my style and ideas on them. Of course, I have an individual style that has developed over many years and hundreds of weddings, but every wedding that I photograph turns out differently. I’ve photographed weddings where the couple wanted nothing but black and white in a very photojournalistic style. I’ve also photographed weddings that were very much the opposite. I take great pride in being able to deliver a product that both incorporates my creative eye and the couple’s vision for their wedding photographs. I take my art very personally and seriously and go to great lengths to make sure that every job is done to the best of my ability.
The photos below attempt to capture an emotion and a moment. There are many things that I photograph at every wedding, but don’t end up in my portfolio (group shots, first dance, first kiss, etc.), but I have put together a selection of photos that I hope show what I do differently than other photographers.”
